    The training and research performed at Central Clinic plays a vital role in the training of mental health professionals that help staff programs throughout Hamilton County. Trainees includes psychiatric residents, medical students, counseling interns, forensic psychiatrist, psychiatric nursing students, social work trainees, and psychology interns through the University of Cincinnati as well as other local and regional colleges. Residents and interns from other local and regional colleges also seek out Central Clinic as a distinguished placement.
