COURT CLINIC DIVISION

TASC Case Manager-(Part-time-20 Hrs. per week): Case Manager needed for Court Clinic TASC Program serving substance-abusing offenders. Provides referrals to community treatment providers; frequent communication with Probation Officers and community treatment providers; facilitates a Substance Abuse Education Group on Monday eve.; and performs drug screening duties. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or social service field; be eligible for chemical dependency licensure; have effective communication skills; and have a working knowledge of community resources.

MHAP DIVISION

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR: Full-time position providing supervision and oversight of daily operations at MHAP.

Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in mental health related field, Independent Licensure, experience in managed care.

Duties include: Oversee day-to-day operations of MHAP program; Oversee deployment of staff resources, ensuring that staff are being fully utilized; In absence of Director assume Director role; Supervise assigned MHAP staff / units, to include Clinical Supervisor, Administrative Clerical Support Supervisor, Medical staff, Housing Specialist, and QI Coordinator; Collaborate and oversee projects with other agencies and funders to assure smooth, proper operations; Participate in long-range planning and implementation of activities to develop future direction and strategies for the program; Lead effort in developing and supervising projects as needed with MHAP.

Clinical Supervisor: Full-time position providing supervision and oversight of clinical services at MHAP.

Duties include: Completes diagnostic assessments and related paperwork; Ensures appropriate use of clinical resources; Assists in the development of policies and procedures; Collaborates with providers, agencies, and the HCCMHB to provide a seamless system of care for consumers; Collaborates with MHAP’s Management Team to ensure client treatment needs are being met, as well as to problem solve MHAP Management issues; Reviews case records and data entry of Mental Health Assessment Specialists, Transitional Case Managers, and ACT Team.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work or other related mental health field. Independent Licensure and competence in substance abuse assessment.

Preferred Qualifications: Extensive, relevant experience in mental health, including supervision and clinical oversight, policy and procedure development, diagnostic assessment and evaluation, assessment of substance abuse/dependence, crisis intervention, and brief therapy.

Mental Health Assessment Specialist: Completes mental health assessment of new consumers and collaborates with mental health and community providers to develop treatment recommendations meeting consumer needs. Provides short-term crisis counseling as appropriate.

Must possess knowledge of DSM-IV-TR, ability to formulate treatment summaries and recommendations, knowledge of the Hamilton County public mental health system, and have the ability to interact sensitively with persons from diverse backgrounds. Requires Master’s degree in psychiatric nursing, social work or other mental health related field, and Ohio Independent licensure. EOE.

Central Connection Intake Specialist: Relevant experience in mental health field to include telephone review, assessment and referral activity, and responding to information/crisis phone calls from consumers/agencies. A working knowledge of Hamilton County public mental health system and other community resources is helpful.

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Provider: Full-time position providing case management services at MHAP. Duties include: Identifies available community resources to assist clients in obtaining needed services and collaborates with professionals to address treatment needs. Works effectively with community agencies to transition clients from MHAP to other service providers. Works collaboratively with the client and/or family, Assessment Specialist, and other professionals to develop and implement ISP goals, and employs goal oriented problem-solving techniques to assist clients.

Qualifications: Candidate must have effective communication skills, the ability to interact professionally with persons from diverse backgrounds, and possess knowledge of the Hamilton County public mental health system and other community resources. Requires an Associate’s Degree in related mental health field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Duties include: Data entry pertaining to consumer care information, maintain client clinical and financial records. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and interact sensitively and professionally with clients and co-workers. Must have good time management and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and able to work independently.

Requirements: Minimum of an Associates degree, relevant experience working in the mental health field, computer literacy, prior office experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Administrative Clerical Support (Family Access Partnership): Part-time position (25 hours/week) processing clinical records for billing and referral in the community. Duties include: Data entry, billing, records management, and client registration specific to the Family Access Partnership program serving children and families involved with Children’s Services. Person will be responsible for greeting and registering consumers as they come for their appointments. The individual will provide administrative and clerical support to the assessment specialist staff and will also be responsible for coordinating data collection efforts to support the outcomes of the program. Report directly to the Project Coordinator.

Requirements: Minimum of an Associates degree, relevant experience working in the mental health field, computer literacy, prior office experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and interact sensitively and professionally with clients and staff. Must have good time management and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and able to work independently.
